Biography

I am a Climate Scientist and Climate Data Analyst with over 25 years of professional experience, including more than 14 years specializing in seasonal and extended-range climate forecasting, climate data analytics, statistical modelling, and climate risk assessment. I have deep hands-on experience with operational climate service platforms, such as FOCUS/FOCUS-X and the Climate Service Toolkit (CST), which support Regional Climate Centres across South Asia and South Africa. Currently a PhD candidate researching signal-based seasonal forecasting methods, I have a strong track record of scientific software development, technical documentation, and delivering training to national meteorological and agricultural agencies internationally.
